Ted Lasso season 4 premiere date: A September 2025 update

With production on Ted Lasso season 4 very-much underway in the UK now, is premiere date news coming? What do we know about the future of the Apple TV+ show in general

There is of course quite a bit of great stuff worth thinking about at this point, and it starts a lot with the fact that the Apple TV+ hit has been off the air for a long time. With that, we tend to believe that there is a real push here in order to get the show back before too long — realistically, of course.

After all, it is worth noting here that the earliest we imagine we are going to get the series back at this point is next summer, and nothing that is revealed over the next few weeks is likely going to change that. Our sentiment here is that production will likely continue for most of the rest of the year, and the the winter / spring is going to be spent with the crew in post-production. That’s a process that does take a good while.

In the interim, it is our general feeling here at the moment that the third season of Shrinking will come first, and that can help to tide everyone over since the two series share a somewhat similar audience.

What will the story be for the fourth season?

Well, it revolves in part around Ted presumably coming back to Richmond to coach a women’s team. There are a number of major cast members from the first three seasons who are coming back, but we are speaking mostly about people like Rebecca, Keeley, and Higgins. We hope to see some of the male players back in some capacity, but they most likely will not be there full-time.
