‘Arrow’ season 2: Some assorted Stephen Amell awesomeness

We figure that many of you are already well aware of the sheer greatness of one Stephen Amell on the internet, but sometimes it does merit repeating: You must follow this man on Twitter. He’s that perfect combination of close to his fans, distant enough to keep them guessing, and someone who clearly loves the work that he’s doing and wants you to love it too. The guy is having a blast playing Oliver Queen, and has no problem having a little bit of fun with it.

Case in point? One of the two Vine videos that we have for you below, which features Amell sitting down in the writers room, and being told that the third episode of the season is going to be a musical. That’s not really going to happen … but it’s still priceless to see the look of shock on his face.

As for another one, it’s great for two very separate reasons: It proves that Amell is back in the show’s filming location of Vancouver, and because there’s a “Back to the Future” reference at the very end of it. If every Vine ever created had a reference to a Michael J. Fox product in it, we’re 98% sure that the world would be a much better place. (And if not, Michael J. Fox can go back in time and fix it.)

“Arrow” season 2 will premiere on The CW Wednesday, October 9 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, and production is going to start pretty soon on the new episodes.
