‘Glee’ season 5: Darren Criss teams up with ‘The Voice’s’ Michelle Chamuel

Darren CrissDo remember that article we wrote earlier this spring about Michelle Chamuel of “The Voice” having an interesting connection from her college years? Well, this connection comes in the form of fellow one-time University of Michigan student Darren Criss, and the two joined forces in Boston this weekend for one of the “Glee” star’s most-recent concerts.

During the set, Darren and Michelle rocked out to one of his original songs in “Not Alone,” and you can see the full video below via Mjsbigblog. It should be pretty clear what our basic take on the song is: This is all kinds of awesome. Not only are the vocals on point, but these two really seem to be having a great time getting into the song with each other. What makes them each such great performers is that they really allow themselves to be completely immersed in the music, which is not something that every person out there has the guts to try.

So what’s next for Michelle following “The Voice”? Her goal is to stay firmly rooted in the indie-music scene, and create some tunes moving forward that allow her to really showcase the artist that she wants to be, and that includes handling almost all aspects herself from producing to cutting the tracks. It’s for that reason in a way that not winning the show is a blessing in disguise for her.

This ended up being quite an eventful weekend in the “Glee” world; while Darren was in Massachusetts performing for his fans, the remainder of the young cast was back in Los Angeles taking part in a photo shoot. If you want to read more about this very thing, all you have to do is visit the story over at the link here.
