‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5: Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley Brazil videos

Yesterday, we promised you that we would have some videos to share of some of the stars of “The Vampire Diaries” from the Bloodlines convention in Brazil this past week, and we have them complete with a surprise: A visit from Ian Somerhalder! Granted, the actor could not make his presence felt at the event physically thanks to his work on a film in the United Kingdom (read more about that here), but he did appear during a video conference that felt almost like it was a member of the Beatles coming up to greet all of his fans in the South American country.

The biggest takeaway that you can have from this video is that Ian was completely in command of this crowd without even being there, and he did his best to say just how grateful he is to all of them for their constant love and support over the course of the past several years. (Video source.)

On a different note, the video below is of a panel featuring the likes of Paul Wesley, Torrey DeVitto, Nathaniel Buzolic, and Matt Davis. The weird irony of this one is that of these four people, Paul is the only actor that we can sit here for sure and say will be a part of the show next year, mostly because two of these characters are dead, and the other is only needed in certain situations.
