‘Supernatural’ season 9 spoilers: Jared Padalecki talks receiving first scripts

Even though “Supernatural” season 9 filming is still at least a couple of weeks away in Vancouver, the show is starting to get to that point where all of the actors have to buckle down and prepare. For the latest evidence of this, just check out the fact that Sam Winchester himself in Jared Padalecki is already in the process of reading some of the first scripts from the new season.

Padalecki confirmed the news in a new post on his Twitter account, while also teasing fans with something that would have any fan jumping to the occasion.

“Just got the first few scripts of season 9. It’s a LOT to read, so, who wants to help me read them?”

If only Jared was really letting everyone read the scripts … oh wait, that wouldn’t be such a great idea, since the whole show would e spoiled! There’s a reason production keeps things so secretive here, and it’s because so much of the “Supernatural” joy comes out of the fact that everything remains under wraps for as long as humanly possible. While we know that Misha Collins is a regular, we don’t know much yet about some of the returning guest stars (we’re still hoping for Jim Beaver), or what sort of storylines are going to be carried over from what we thought was a vastly improved season 8.
