‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5: Celebrate graduation with Joseph Morgan
This is right around the time of year when many high schoolers around the country are graduating from high school, and in the world of “The Vampire Diaries,” this apparently only means one thing: Find a brand-new way to celebrate while being ghastly at the same time.
With that, we bring to you the latest viral video courtesy of The CW. At first, this appears to be a reasonably-pleasant video celebrating the spirit of graduation, and wishing the entire Class of 2013 the best. Then, we end up seeing Joseph Morgan’s Klaus cut someone’s head off. If there was ever one “what the [insert word here]” moment that this video needed, this was it. It’s strange, yet appropriate to this show in every sense of the word.
Perhaps the most important thing about this video is not anything that is actually featured in it, but rather it’s the purpose that it provides: Finding a way to keep the show fresh in everyone’s minds over the course of the next several weeks. There are still probably over three months until the show premieres season 5, and with that, it’s easy to forget about it. So what better way to plant a pleasant reminder that this series is waiting for you with open arms this fall? The last thing The CW wants is for its viewers to grow older and move on, and forget about them along the way. Some habits, including obsessively viewing your favorite show, do not have to end with graduation.
What do you think about this video? If you want to read some more “Vampire Diaries” scoop when it comes to both Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev’s characters, you don’t have to look any further than the link here.
