‘Teen Wolf’ season 3, episode 2 preview: The drama kicks up another gear

Last week, “Teen Wolf” had quite a bit to accomplish within the span of an hour’s time. There was the departure of Colton Haynes that had to be addressed, the arrival of a new pack that meant business, and also working on continuing the romantic subplots that were first constructed by during the show’s second season.

So where does the show go from here? To trying to take the next step. The promo below for Monday night’s new episode “Chaos Rising” has quite a bit to tease, especially when it comes to a few select people who are more bloodthirsty than anything or anyone that our characters have come across before. “Allison and Lydia locate a possible clue to finding Boyd and Erica; one of Stiles’ childhood friends goes missing.”

When you just look at the numbers right now for “Teen Wolf,” there is little questioning that the show is trying as hard as it can to hold firm to a certain standard. The season 3 premiere was the most-watched one yet, and this is even with Haynes returning to “Arrow” and with there not being the same sort of substantial lead-in that the show has had in the past. So long as the writers find a way to keep everything exciting and fast-paced, we’re pretty confident that we are going to be in for quite an excellent summer.
