MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 3, episode 10 preview: Jenna’s Collin conflict continues

AwkwardIf you really thought that last week was going to be the end of the whole “Matty vs. Collin” conflict on “Awkward,” think again. Tuesday night’s mid-season finale will be the episode that really pushes the tension up to another level, and it’s for one reason: Jenna herself. She’s started to realize that the feelings that she has for Nolan Funk’s character are strictly one-sided, and this really is not a case at all of some guy trying to egg her on into a romance that she doesn’t want. She is clearly the person interested in making it happen, and thus is fantasizing about it.

During this episode, Collin is going to extend an invitation for Jenna to attend an event, which causes some problems with Matty. Why? There’s a schedule conflict, and things only get worse from there. We also know that Jake and Tamara are not going to be immune from the relationship drama for most of the episode. These two will have to deal with some major issues of their own, namely Tamara’s tendency to be a little bossy and snippy to others.

We expect there to be some, but not all, answers given during this episode. After all, there does need to be somewhere for the show to go in the second half of this season, and that includes creating a good cliffhanger that can successfully suck you back in months after the fact. We’re already placing our bets that somehow, this cliffhanger will put Jenna and Collin front and center.
