MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 3 spoilers: Jenna, Colin, Matty, and a midseason finale

Have you enjoyed having “Awkward” a little bit earlier in the year than with season 2? We hope so, since we’re about to arrive at what is the bad news: Tuesday’s episode is going to be the last one for at least a little while. There are some more episodes ordered, but they will air a little later in the year.

So what can you expect for Tuesday’s episode? According to TV Guide, there are a few important things to watch out for. For one, the love triangle between Jenna, Matty, and Colin is going to intensify yet again, and there could be something that happens that will push Jenna even closer to being with her artsy creative-writing classmate (even though he already has a girlfriend). Will it actually happen? We don’t know about that, given that the show has mostly been working to tease trouble in paradise for much of the past several weeks.

So what about trouble for another couple? Let’s just say that Jake and Tamara are not exactly going to be devoid of their own share of problems. Basically, what happens between them in this episode will be the answer to one key question: What happens when Tamara starts to become a little too much like a certain mean girl in Sadie? We’ve always known that she has a nasty streak in her, but with Sadie’s stock at the school falling thanks to her parents money situation, there could be a very sad role here that is ripe for the picking.
