‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 spoilers: Ginnifer Goodwin talks missing Red
As you know at this point, the tides of change are coming for “Once Upon a Time” season 3. While Red / Ruby is still alive and well in Storybrooke, Meghan Ory is leaving the show (at least on a full-time basis) in order to concentrate more on her upcoming role on the CBS drama “Intelligence.”
So what sort of reaction is this inciting from one of the show’s primary cast members? Speaking out in a post on her Twitter page in response to a question, the woman behind Snow White / Mary Margaret in Ginnifer Goodwin had the following to say:
“I’ll miss her desperately when she is not there BUT that’s NOT to say that Ruby/Red won’t still be visiting us!”
It is clear already that Ory is going to be missing the show in her own way, even though she is moving on to a job that will give her a substantial amount more in the way of screen time. Her Twitter background still remands as a photo of Little Red Riding Hood, and she has already expressed her own interest in coming back. She is helped somewhat by “Intelligence” and “Once Upon a Time” shooting fairly close to each other, and by the fact that the CBS show will not premiere until mid-season, following the Monday-night comedy block.
Are you going to miss Ruby as much as Goodwin, or do you think that we’ll still be able to see her enough in order to be satisfied? If you want to read a little bit more analysis on what this show could actually learn from a famed video game in Square Enix’s “Kingdom Hearts,” be sure to head on over to the link here.

Red Riding was one of my favorite characters. I hope she comes back and helps Belle solve the problems that are yet to come to Story Brooke.
