‘Britain’s Got Talent,’ ‘X Factor’ collide with Demi Lovato, Olly Murs performances

Britain's Got TalentThis is one of the major joys of being on a show executive-produced by Simon Cowell. If he likes you, it’s likely that he will put you on one of his other programs to go along with the one you already appeared on. This is made all the more significant thanks to the fact that Cowell’s “Britain’s Got Talent” is the highest-rated show of its kind besides what will likely be a big premiere of “The X Factor” in the late summer / early fall.

Next week starts what is basically the week-long marathon for the show, where there are live semifinals that take place leading up to the grand finale next weekend. Who will be appearing on some of these shows? As of right now, both Demi Lovato and Olly Murs are confirmed to be stopping by. The former is one of the judges currently looking to help find big-name talent on “The X Factor,” while the other is a British “X Factor” sensation who has gone on to sell records internationally. He made his first prime-time appearance on American television earlier this year courtesy of “Dancing with the Stars.”

This appearance for Olly will also keep him in front of the camera at least long enough for people to hopefully remember how fantastic he was as a co-host on “The Xtra Factor.” Sadly, he’s not going to be returning to this ITV2 series this year, citing a need for rest after years of constant touring around the country.
