American Horror Stories season 3 episode 3: ‘Tapeworm’ details

For those who are not aware already, American Horror Stories season 3 episode 3 could be one of the grossest ones that we see all season! After all, the title here is “Tapeworm” and at the center of it … well, do we really have to spell that out for you here? Just based on what we have already said, you probably have a pretty darn good sense of what it is that we are dealing with. This is going to be a gross story about some pretty gross developments.

Also, there is a big-name performer in Lisa Rinna who is appearing over the course of this! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member and daytime icon will play some sort of role, and on some weird level, we do think that this story is going to carry with it a topical twist.

Is this one of those sort of stories where she uses this worm to sabotage others, or does she form some sort of strange, symbiotic relationship with it? Because this show is an anthology where each episode is its own thing (and it is also on streaming), that does give the creative team a little bit of creative leeway to do almost whatever it is that they’d like. There are probably going to be a number of big creative swings in here and at the end of the day, we would just say to be prepared for that.

Above all else, we just want to be surprised while being entertained and/or horrified. Is that really too much to ask?
