‘Big Brother Canada’ interview: Emmett Blois on keeping Gary, handling fame
For about the entirety of the pre-jury game on “Big Brother Canada,” we were pretty convinced that the winner was going to be one half of the Sheyld in Peter Brown. However, from the start of jury straight on to the final three, it felt almost obvious that Emmett Blois was going to take it. He was a physical threat, a strong strategist, and he and Jillian MacLaughlin (now known as your official winner) had an alliance that was completely unbreakable.
It is for this reason that Emmett told our group of reporters Thursday night following the taping that he was completely ready to take Jillian to the end at all costs. He felt that the moment of leaving the house was best left to he and his showmance partner, and he also defended his choice to try and take Gary to the end of the game … even though it was probably not the best move in retrospect given that Talla probably would not have been in a position to win the final Head of Household of the season.
In addition to strategy, we also asked Emmett in the video below (thanks again to BB Canada Insider for taping) about the fact that he was one of Canada’s most-popular houseguests during the season, which is something that he never saw coming, and something that he was not really even looking to obtain when he decided to go on the show. Now, he is one of many in a great cast of characters that could be worth seeing on a future season of this show.
Were you rooting for Emmett to go all of the way on “Big Brother Canada”? If you’ve missed some of our other backyard interview pieces, be sure to check out Jillian, Talla and Topaz, The Sheyld with Andrew & AJ, and also the houseguests that left before the jury.

Any chance of a written transcript of this interview? Can’t hear very well in the video due to back ground voice noise :-(
