‘The Bachelorette’: Who won’t be succeeding Desiree Hartsock?

Yes, we have what just about everyone is craving right about now: Scoop on next year’s “The Bachelorette” before the current one with Desiree Hartsock even starts airing. (End sarcasm.) What we really have here is further evidence that despite however much buzz that tabloids tend to start up about a certain someone having some sort of supposed interest in coming back to the ABC show it looks like the media couldn’t be more wrong about this one.

Speaking in a new interview with “Extra,” Ali Fedotowsky reveals that despite getting a great deal of press out of her first time on the show, even to the extent that she now hosts a travel show called “1st Look,” she has ultimately no interest in returning to the show that originally made her into a celebrity:

“I’m out. I’m a Bachelorette no more … I tried, and the reason I did the show was because I thought it might be my calling. Now? Not so much. I’m going to find love the old fashioned way.”

This does serve as a nice bit of additional evidence that not every person under the sun is interested in getting back on a reality dating show, even though “Bachelor Pad” has really created that generalization in our minds. Brad Womack is the only two-time “Bachelor,” and there has never been a woman to take the gig twice. The tabloids tried to start up gossip about Emily Maynard wanting another go, but that was quickly dismissed as nothing but false reporting.

The truth is that while being “The Bachelorette” can be a rewarding experience from both a personal and financial point of view, it’s also very stressful, and we’re not sure it’s anything that someone should put themselves through more than once.

What do you think: Is there any former “Bachelorette” that you want to see back on the show?
