‘American Idol’ top 4 spoilers: Kree Harrison, Angie Miller’s next theme is…
Just how close is the race to win “American Idol” right now? Based on the fact that we have seen visual evidence of different voting results week in and week out, there’s really no telling who is actually the long-term favorite to win the whole competition. Not only that, but we weren’t even told last night whether or not Amber Holcomb or Candice Glover would have been the one sent home had it been a regular elimination.
What we can at least confirm now is what these two ladies (plus Kree Harrison and Angie Miller) will be performing on the show this time around: “Old and New.” For those of us who loved Candice singing “Find Your Love” this week, it’s refreshing to see that they will be forced to take on some music that is actually current. This means fewer huge diva ballads, and more opportunities for these people to show that they can have fun. For example, Angie still has yet to prove that she can rock out to anything uptempo.
So is it a disadvantage at all that Candice and Amber are going into this week with fewer total votes? We don’t see it that way. We’re sure that one of them will probably be handed the pimp spot on the night, and their fans will compensate for the voting somewhat. We would bet that Amber’s days are numbered based on her bottom two experience, but stranger things have happened with this show.
