‘American Idol’ song spoilers: What will Candice Glover, Angie Miller take on?

There are a number of reasons at this point as to why Candice Glover has to be one of the undisputed favorites to go all the way on “American Idol.” First of all, it’s clear that she has a voice that is second to none in the competition. Not only that, but she seems to have understood just how important song choice is to being declared the winner. You have to do more than just sing good songs time and time again.  You also have to go outside of the box in order to do something that causes jaws to hit the floor.

With this in mind, we have to express just how impressed we are with the news that Candice will reportedly be choosing the Drake hit “Find Your Love” during the “Free Choice” half of the show. It’s a current song, and not one that you would expect her to sing. Add to this the news that she is singing the Rihanna hit “Stay” in a duet with Angie Miller, and you get the sense that she really understands what fans of the show are looking for from her – creative tunes that are not just the same Whitney Houston / Celine Dion songs that we have heard time and time again on the show.

We’ll have some more song scoop over the next 24 hours, but know that Angie is also going to be performing a Jessie J hit that she not only was requested to sing on Twitter, but that she has done in the past.
