‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 8, episode 22 preview: Barney’s bachelor party

From the moment you found out that one Barney Stinson on “How I Met Your Mother” was going to be getting married, there was one thought that was almost surely on your mind: This bachelor party is going to be legen … wait for Ted and Marshall to prepare a night of torture for him … dary! This is going to be an episode of craziness the likes of which we have not see on the show in some time. There will be people in clown costumes, reprisals of a past trip to Atlantic City, strippers, and pretty much everything else that you would expect to be at an event toasting this man.

But is it really going to be that much fun for him? That is a little unclear based on the promo below. While in some way Ted and Marshall kidnapping Barney for the event seems to be the sort of thing that happens at all sorts of bachelor parties, it appears from there on out that their intentions are just as sinister as they are noble. Do they want to give this guy a good time, or just mess with him for a night before he’s married? Either way, it’s bound to be hilarious.

Regardless of whatever the characters decide to do, the best news is that this will take us another step closer to the wedding finally happening. A part of us wishes that this was definitely going to be taking place this season … but then again, we have to have something to look forward to for season 9, right?
