‘Supernatural’ season 8, episode 20 preview: Felicia Day brings forth a case

“Supernatural” season 8 returns to The CW on Wednesday night in order to begin the path to the finale, and this means getting an opportunity to first of all see Felicia Day’s character of Charlie return for one final go-around this season. On paper, it does not necessarily appear as though “Pac-Man Fever” is going to play too significant a role in the upcoming story; however, you never quite know when it comes to episodes like this.

As the preview clip below shows, Charlie is going to visit Sam and Dean with an actual case for them, as she found something that local police tried to bury from the general public. There was a man who died, and all of his insides were basically liquefied. The reason that this never got out was simply because the police did not want to send the public into a panic, and she has personally ruled out a number of supernatural options as to what the cause of this could be.

Of course, this is where the Winchesters come into play! The one thing that is hilarious / awesome about the “Supernatural” family is that in watching this clip is: did Jared Padalecki cut his hair? Maybe reducing the size of the mane is the best way to prepare for some of the massive battle for the tablets that is coming up ahead.
