‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4, episode 19 preview: Any Klaus / Caroline moments?

In just one day, “The Vampire Diaries” is going to be back on the air with an episode in “Pictures of You” that should give fans plenty of reasons to be excited. For one, it is the return of the ever-popular “dance” storyline, which is something that we have seen time and time again (though usually under the guise of some decade-oriented themes).

This dance will at least be a little bit more adult … which is a good thing, since there’s no way that Damon could pass as a high schooler in a hundred years. (We’re shocked that Stefan manages to get away with it sometimes.) We’re not here to talk about the Salvatores, though: instead, this is really all about the romantic life of Candice Accola’s Caroline. Is she going to take advantage this week of the opportunity to get close to Klaus at the dance? Not exactly. Executive producer Julie Plec tells TV Guide that while there will be a moment that should make some Klaus and Caroline fans happy, this episode will once again show more than ever that Caroline is committed to Tyler … at least for now.

Of course, the unfortunate thing for “Klaroline” fans is that there really is not much time at all for there to be some sort of major move prior to the start of the “Originals” backdoor pilot. After all, there are only three episodes left after Klaus’ first adventures in New Orleans, even if there will be some opportunities after that for the two shows to cross over with each other.
