‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6 spoilers: How will Sheldon and Amy evolve?
Over the past several episodes of “The Big Bang Theory,” the question has been teased: are we ever going to live in a world where Sheldon and Amy start to have a physical relationship? Over time Jim Parson’s character has adapted more of a willingness to the idea, and while we have not seen him act on any of what he is saying, any growth here is better than no growth at all … regardless of however long it takes to happen.
Luckily for Amy, it appears as though there is an event coming up that could cause the couple’s relationship to evolve rather rapidly. For more on that, check out the official synopsis for “The Love Spell Potential,” the penultimate episode of the season coming to us on Thursday, May 9:
“When the girls’ trip to Vegas falls through, the guys invite them to play Dungeons & Dragons, causing Sheldon and Amy’s relationship to take an unexpected turn. Meanwhile, Koothrappali and Lucy go on a very awkward date.”
The great thing about the “Big Bang Theory” synopses are that they tend to give you just enough information to really know what is going on in the episode, but at the same time, they still allow there to be something left to the imagination. It’s also not really giving anything away for the other episodes ahead to assume that Raj and Lucy are still trying to work things out, mostly because neither have given any indication that they want to move away from dating each other, regardless of however difficult it may be.
What’s your take on this idea, and do you think it is possible that we could see a Sheldon / Amy hookup by the time the half-hour is over? If you want to take a first look at Bob Newhart as Professor Proton, be sure to pay a visit over to the link here.
