First look: ‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6, ‘Two and a Half Men’ season 10 finales
On Friday, CBS released what was a pretty comprehensive list of official synopses for some of their popular shows’ upcoming finales, whether it be some of the dramas like “NCIS” or even some of their reality shows a la “The Amazing Race” or “Survivor.”
On this particular occasion, we’re going to open the door on a pair of Thursday-night sitcoms that we cover often in “The Big Bang Theory” and “Two and a Half Men.” Both shows are ratings warriors for the network, and they are each currently plotting to end their seasons with some surprising twists and turns; whether it be a character getting an interest in a much older woman, or a character potentially going away from all of his loves ones for a time. These synopses are brief, but at least given away a few details about what you will be seeing next month.
“Two and a Half Men” (airing May 9) – “Walden dates a hot 22-year-old (Hilary Duff) but finds himself more interested in her grandmother (Marilu Henner). Meanwhile, Alan and Jake go on a father-son bonding trip.”
“The Big Bang Theory” (airing May 16) – “Sheldon and Penny are thrown for a loop when Leonard is offered an exciting job opportunity overseas.”
Surprising hookups has long been the name of the game for the Jon Cryer – Ashton Kutcher series; meanwhile, “The Big Bang theory” has established a fondness for closing their seasons with characters taking off on various adventures. Last year, Howard went into space, and we have seen all of the guys take off to the North Pole in the past. The only real difference here? There is nothing said about Leonard’s job being temporary, and he could have a much more serious decision to make between his life and his career.
Which finale are you more interested in seeing? If you want to also check out some more scoop on “Two and a Half Men” related to Alan’s personal life, be sure to head on over to the link here.

Of course I am more interested in The Big Bang Theory final episode – as a person who is the proud and unabashed owner of all five previous seasons on CD. Can’t wait to have season 6 in there, too. It’s the ONLY show of which I have the complete set.
