‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6 spoilers: Who knew that Raj is a hockey fan?

When “The Big Bang Theory” comes on the air a little later on this month with an all-new episode entitled “The Closure Alternative,” we are basically going to see an entertaining storyline that really revolves all around just what happens when one of Sheldon’s favorite TV shows becomes canceled. While we are pretty much sold on the idea that this is going to be one of the most hilarious things imaginable, it will not be the only moment during this half-hour that has people talking.

During this half-hour, we are going to see Raj getting to know his new love interest Lucy (Kate Micucci) better, as he learns that the socially-awkward woman is harboring some sort of secret. Is it that she is actually a diehard Los Angeles Kings fan? We don’t know why in the world Raj would otherwise be wearing a hockey jersey in the photo attached here. We’ve never really known him to be a gigantic supporter of anything on ice save for something a little bit more artistic, and sports also seem to be very much “not his thing.”

Regardless of what happens in this episode, the storyline should do a good job of helping to set up what are the final three episodes of the season. By that time, we expect to learn whether or not this relationship has long-term potential, or if we are going to once again see Raj single and alone when season 7 picks up again with new episodes is the fall.
