‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 finale: Is [spoiler] Peter Pan?
Everyone loves to come up with their coolest and most-creative theories in regards to “Once Upon a Time,” but when you remember that the upcoming season finale has a title that is a straight-on allusion to “Peter Pan,” it’s hard to argue against anyone thinking that we are either in the presence of the famous character already, or that we are going to meet them this season.
But is the theory that Neal Cassady is Peter Pan really true? Considering that we know already that he has a history with Captain Hook, and that he is really much older than he appears, it is pretty easy to connect the dots with this theory. However, we’re hearing that this is false for a number of reasons:
1. At the show’s PaleyFest panel earlier this year, executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis explained that we would not end up meeting Pan until the show’s third season. We don’t know why there were rumors that persisted after that, but it happened.
2. In addition to that, producers tell TVLine that none of the major theories out there about Neal thus far are correct. He does have a part to play in that universe seemingly, but it’s not what one would think.
For those curious, the producers also told the aforementioned website yet again that the theories that Tamara is Tinkerbell or some other character are also untrue. She genuinely has no fairy-tale alter ego, and is acting with a much different purpose in mind.
