‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4: Dish via Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder
While “The Vampire Diaries” season 4 may not be returning to The CW until April 18, a number of the show’s biggest stars chose to speak out about some of their favorite moments over the course of the show’s run at the annual Vampire Diaries Convention in Chicago over the weekend.
While there is nothing that you can really take away from this sort of event when it comes to spoilers (mostly because the actors are told long in advance not to say anything that could give away future plot details, they did certainly keep their bromance very much alive. For example, at one point they claimed that they were going to make their own “50 Shades of Grey” entitled “50 Shades of Salvatores,” which is of course a response to all of the frequent questions that Ian gets about being a part of that movie. (Paul also referred to Ian at one point as “my baby blue eyes.”)
A Canadian fansite was present at the panel, and according to them, Ian said that “Lost Girls” from season 1 is his favorite episode of the show. He also said that it freaks him out a little bit when he hears that really young kids watch the show, which makes sense considering that there are necks getting snapped all of the place.
Some other actors who appeared at the convention this year included Nate Buzolic (Kol), Wesley’s wife Torrey DeVitto (Dr. Fell), Arielle Kebbel (Lexi), Candice Accola (Caroline), Michael Trevino (Tyler), and Steven R. McQueen (Jeremy).
