‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 finale spoilers: The script is complete!
While the contents of the “Vampire Diaries” season 4 finale may be one of the best-kept secrets in television right now, we do at least have some welcome news coming in from executive producer Julie Plec: the script for the episode is at least complete. This will hopefully be the opportunity to not just have answers on what is going to happen with Elena, the Salvatores, and some of the other familiar faces in Mystic Falls, but also what sort of storyline is going to take shape early on during the show’s sixth season.
Here is what Plec ultimately wrote on her Twitter account, along with a friendly reminder to fans that despite any protests or dreams they may have for certain characters, it is not going to change what has already been written down.
“The season finale is written and locked. There’s not a tweet on this earth that can change it. Sit back and enjoy the ride.”
As for what we are the most excited to see from this episode, we’re really not so partial to one thing or another. We’d at least like some closure on whether or not Elena can be changed back to a human, just as it would also be rather nice to figure out just whether or not the Salvatores are going to continue to harp on the young woman’s every word, or ultimately opt to go about their business instead and try to move forward with their lives. (At a certain point, we’re hoping for the latter.)
