‘The Carrie Diaries’ finale spoilers: Will Carrie and Sebastian work things out?
Before we dive into anything plot-wise when it comes to next week’s season finale for “The Carrie Diaries,” we really should emphasize the word “season.” The CW makes a concentrated effort in the promo below in not saying that this is a series finale, which could at least give fans some hope that the show is still under consideration. Does it mean that it will actually be saved? Far from it; while it has an outside shot at a renewal depending on some new pilots, we wold not be remotely surprised if this ends up being the last episode next week.
If that turns out to be the case, the show at least looks like it will be going out with plenty of drama. We’re going to see what comes next with Carrie and Sebastian, and the look on the former’s face certainly suggests that something “awful” does in fact happen. Check out the full synopsis for this episode below:
“Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) is happy going to her junior prom, but when hidden secrets are revealed plans begin to change. Dorrit (Stefania Owen) is determined to take her relationship with Miller (guest star Evan Crooks) to the next level, but things hit a bump along the way. For the first time in her life, Mouse (Ellen Wong) decides to defy her parents to date whom she wants. Tom (Matt Letscher) begins to struggle with sneaking around, especially when he thinks someone might be on to him. Elsewhere, Larissa (Freema Agyeman) makes Carrie and Walt (Brendan Dooling) an enticing offer.”
