Wednesday season 2 premiere date: February expectations
First and foremost, though, let’s start off with this: A reminder that the Jenna Ortega series was only renewed for more episodes last month. What that effectively means is that there will probably not be much of a hurry to announce some sort of start date this month, let alone the next several! There is no specific start date for production as of yet, but it is our hope that it will kick off at some point before we’re deep in the summer.
Basically, what we’re trying to hope for right now is a premiere in the first several months of 2024. We know that it takes a long time to make any television show, but that is even more the case when you are talking about one on Netflix. These shows are typically high-budget and as a result of that, there’s a lot of post-production that needs to be done. That also means that we need to be a little more patient, especially when there’s a tendency for all episodes to come out at once.
We suppose the only way we could conceivably get Wednesday in super-early 2024 is if the show is split into parts, but there is no confirmation at present this is happening and we don’t want to jump to any conclusions super-fast.
What can you expect to see this month?
At the moment, we’d just say to keep your eyes peeled for either a production timeline, some interviews with the cast, or maybe the tiniest tease or two from people involved behind the scenes. If we’re lucky, a premiere date (or at least an approximate one) could be revealed this fall.
