‘The Walking Dead’ finale spoilers: Early season 4 hype and more
We live in a culture where everyone at this point loves to be gratified as soon as humanly possible, and with that in mind, we have to anticipate that there will be frustration will be through the roof when it comes to the conclusion of “The Walking Dead” season 3 on Sunday night. Everyone is going to be clamoring for answers, but the problem here is that you really are not going to get any major ones at all until at least Comic-Con in July, and the show won’t return to AMC until October.
Of course, the journey to season 4 is going to be very much dependent on what happens during season 3; and with that in mind, it is very difficult to speculate. Nonetheless, we can be sure of a few things:
1. Not every character we see tonight will be along for the ride.
2. There will be more reminders of how dangerous the walkers are after this human-centric season.
3. Even if The Governor lives, we are not just going to see the same sort of thing from him that we did throughout the last several weeks.
To get another perspective on the wait for the new season, here is what one man who is actually on the chopping block in Dallas Roberts (Milton) had to say per MTV:
“Everyone who has taken you for three seasons is not going to let you down. You can expect that when it goes black, the wait until season four is going to be interminable … People are going to be talking, that’s for sure.”
What do you think will be the one question we continually ask ourselves while we sit around and wait for the next season of “The Walking Dead”? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below.
