ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 2, episode 17 preview: An ear for the truth

Before you begin getting your plans set for Easter weekend, get ready for Thursday night: after all, there is a new episode of “Scandal” season 2 coming on the air, and this one is going to feature something that has to qualify as one of the more disgusting things that we have seen in some time.

At first, the scene below is rather cut-and-dry: the Gladiators are preparing for a pretty standard, high-drama rescue organization (though this time involving the kidnapping of one Hollis Doyle’s daughter), and someone brings in something that even the most hard-knows of operatives needs to survive: food. IT seems to be a rather innocent scene at first … at least until someone discovers a human ear.

What does this mean? Is this a threat to stop hunting? It is pretty easy to nod your head “yes” in response to this, since we have a hard time believing that someone would unintentionally pull a Mike Tyson inside of a lunch bag. However, this is Olivia Pope that these people are dealing with, and you know that nothing will detail her or her team quite so easily.

Speaking of people who are certainly more than a little bit determined, the second half of this video features Mellie talking about a snake in the garden, something that she has worked a long time to build and preserve. Who wants to bet that she is speaking metaphorically here? While she may not be everyone’s cup of tea, it is very hard to argue against the notion that the First Lady is a very powerful woman, and she is someone that everyone on the show needs to be aware of.
