NBC’s ‘Revolution’ spoilers: Series boss teases action, shockers, and more to come
After a very long and tiresome wait, it’s almost over. “Revolution” will return to NBC with some new episodes beginning on Monday night, and with that, we are hopefully going to have answers to a number of key questions. The April 8 episode, for example, is finally going to tell the story of why the power went out in the first place; and in addition to that, we are also going to see some strong character development along with shockers all over the place for Rachel, Charlie, Miles, and everyone else.
Are you looking for something a little bit more specific? For that, let’s turn to what show executive producer Eric Kripke had to say recently in an interview with Entertainment Weekly:
“It’s so big. It’s action on a level that I’ve truly never seen on network television before … This show is about the characters and it’s about the emotion, and we really keep it grounded, but man, we really blow some s**t up, too.”
While “Revolution” has definitely been off the air for a rather long time, it is going to have quite the opportunity to succeed in airing after a show in “The Voice” that has long been a ratings monster for the network. While we don’t know if it will be able to recapture all of its former glory, the lack of other new hits for NBC almost mean that a second season here is pretty close to guaranteed pending some sort of unforeseen disaster.
What do you want to see happen on “Revolution” moving forward this season? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below, and you can also head over here to check out our preview that is all about the show’s ratings.
