‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2, episode 18 preview: Emma does not believe in handouts
On Sunday night’s new “Once Upon a Time” episode, we are finally going to see Mary Margaret emerge a little from her self-imposed exile. So what does this mean for some of the other characters? Basically, that Emma Swan may still have the most power over her out of anyone.
As you can see in the sneak peek below, David is going to be interrupted in his desperate attempts to care for his beloved, who is recovering from the fact that he used Regina in order to kill Cora, by Jennifer Morrison’s character, who makes her thoughts on this situation rather clear: there is nothing about hiding under a heap of blankets that is going to help Mary Margaret at the end of the day. While it may be understandable to feel sorry for her over what has happened, sooner or later you do have to get up and go about your day.
So how does Mary Margaret respond to this criticism, almost immediately? She rises out of bed, gets dressed, and informs David that she is going to be heading out to the woods for a time … and she is interested mostly in going about it alone. This may not be music to his ears, but it is a pretty major step forward after having seen the woman he loves more or less hide from the outside world for a time.
The funniest thing about this episode right now is that we know it to be a showcase of Eion Bailey’s character of August / Pinocchio; however, we have yet to actually see a single sneak peek video featuring him. Translation? They’re saving all the best stuff for the episode.
Do you think Emma is going about this with the right attitude? If you want to watch some more sneak peeks from Sunday’s new “Once Upon a Time” season 2 episode, you can do so over at the link here.
