‘Anger Management’ season 2: Lindsay Lohan to film with Charlie Sheen before rehab

Anger ManagementIn what should not come as a surprise to anyone familiar with either Lindsay Lohan or Charlie Sheen, there is some drama already surrounding the former “Mean Girls” star’s upcoming appearance on the FX series “Anger Management.” However, the good news is that this is trouble that has already been dealt with, and it was really all about scheduling more than anything else.

With the news breaking that Lohan is set to undergo a 90-day treatment period thanks to a plea bargain in her latest dust-up with the law, there were of course questions as to whether or not Lohan’s role would still stick as a patient of Charlie’s who potentially has some sort of other connection with him. However, we are now hearing that the spot will in fact be filmed without any problems at all.

According to a report from E!, Lohan will film the appearance next week, before ultimately beginning her stay in a treatment facility in April. While this is clearly not going to be enough work for her to take care of the myriad of financial problems that she is in, it will at least allow her an opportunity to try and showcase what were once some strong comedic muscles, and hopefully land some more work once she leaves treatment (which will likely happen in July). Her next movie role comes in the already-filmed project “The Canyons,” which is so explicit that only a few theaters will likely end up showing it.

Are you excited to see what Lohan brings to the role, and do you think that Sheen will actually be able to tap into what made her a popular actress earlier on in her career? If you want to read some more news when it comes to the Lohan casting, you can do so over at the link here.
