‘Game of Thrones’ season 3: Watch the Academy’s panel now!
If you are up late tonight and love “Game of Thrones,” then we have a treat for you now: the Academy of Television Arts & Science’s panel for season 3 of the hit HBO show.
Beginning at 10:30 p.m. Easter time, many of the actors (along with writer George R.R. Martin) sat down with the folks behind the Emmy Awards, along with fans of the show in the audience and around the globe, to talk about the making of the series thus far, signature moments, and what lies ahead. There won’t be any major spoilers, but those of you who love TV production should find quite a bit to like here. It is a pretty lengthy video, so the one thing that we have to caution right now is to set aside plenty of time in order to check it out in full.
This appearance is just one of many stops on what is going to be a major PR blitz for all of the “Game of Thrones” cast over the course of the coming weeks. They will be visiting talk shows, doing print and media interviews, and pretty much anything and everything they can in order to help publicize HBO’s massive hit even more than they have already. The only person whose schedule is a tad limited is Emilia Clarke (Daenerys), and that is because of her work on Broadway at the moment preparing for the revival of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” She was, however, in attendance briefly at the premiere in Los Angeles yesterday.
