‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4: How Nina Dobrev sees stars … from afar
Nina Dobrev is going to be in Atlanta wrapping up “The Vampire Diaries” season 4 for the next several weeks, but before making it to the point, she had one final opportunity this weekend to take part in something that is a celebrity tradition in Los Angeles: attend a Los Angeles Lakers game. She and her pal Julianne Hough, fresh off of spending time together on the beach, were spotted in some of the front rows in order to watch Dwight Howard and company play while Kobe Bryant was on the bench due to injury. (Hough recently split from her longtime beau Ryan Seacrest, and while there have been rumors about the state of Dobrev’s relationship with co-star Ian Somerhalder, nothing is confirmed.)
So what did Nina try to do while at the game? Only try to snap a shot with one of the Lakers’ biggest longtime fans in Jack Nicholson, notorious for attending almost every home game that they have. In a post on her WhoSay page, the actress detailed her efforts to be seen alongside the reclusive star … and the failure that came as a result:
“Just asked jack Nicholson to take a picture WITH ME.. He said no. #rejected. Haha so I took a pic of him solo #paparazzi LOL”
So here is the real question: if you are one of the most-popular young stars on TV looking to meet Jack Nicholson, do you lead off with this in a conversation? It seems to be an easy way to get attention, but at the same time you want to stay humble. Even for the biggest of TV stars, this has to be a dilemma given that we don’t know how much of “The Vampire Diaries” Nicholson would watch.
