‘Big Brother Canada’ live feed spoilers: What happened to Emmett after ‘cheating’ scandal?

After spending much of the day wondering about what was going to happen to Emmett following the “cheating” scandal that unfolded following Thursday night’s “Big Brother Canada” episode, we now have an answer … and it was certainly not good news for the farmer in the slightest. (Warning: major spoilers ahead!)

First of all, we’re pleased to report that all of the rumors about Tom quitting the show and about a house boycott seem to be completely bogus, which is very good to hear considering that it’s much more entertaining to see contestants blindsided (Tom or otherwise) on the way out rather than them just throwing in the towel. As for Emmett, the bad news here is that he was punished by being named an automatic Have-Not for the week, and he was also not eligible to compete in the new Head of Household Competition. The only case that we could see Emmett supporters make for him right now is that Topaz in the challenge got off with a warning; but then again, she didn’t end up winning, and Emmett’s incident of cheating occurred after Arisa Cox both explained the challenge and issued a warning during it. He only has to blame himself right now.

As for the results of the second HoH competition, it looks as though Gary is now the guy in power. This puts Emmett in even more trouble, since early indications suggest that his targets for eviction are him and Jillian as revenge for putting him up week two. So why isn’t Tom nominated? Ultimately, the reasoning here is that Tom did take him off the block, and he wants to have the option open to backdoor either him or Liza later (with the latter being an idea that many of the Quatro guys are probably going to push).

There was also some sort of Have / Have-Not naming that took place during the time in which the live feeds were down, and Jillian, Emmett, Alec, and Andrew all have the distinction of eating slop this week. This is the third straight week that Alec has been on the stuff, and he’s also spent much of the night freaking out that he could be a target.
