‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 6: Notes on guest arcs, social media via Kurt Sutter
The latest edition of Kurt Sutter’s “WTFSutter” is here, but as the “Sons of Anarchy” showrunner himself proclaimed during it, there is not so much here in the way of information (that is, unless you like hearing about his parrot or about him slowly starting to lose his memory).
However, Sutter is still selling himself short in a couple of regards. These videos always have some sort of captivating quality to them (as inexplicable as it may be), and it is always appreciated that a show creator really takes the time to make these for the fans. There were still some interesting subjects that were covered over the course of the video below, as well: while he would not say anything about the first episode of the season (which he is writing himself), he did explain that there will be a meeting with FX soon to discuss the social media strategy for season 6, which will seemingly not include “Before the Anarchy” in the same form that we saw it last year. However, there are plenty of other ideas that he and the network are looking at to keep the show fresh in everyone’s minds until the fall, and some of the early promotional art for the season, featuring Charlie Hunnam and Katey Sagal front and center, is already being designed.
Sutter also answered a couple of questions that include some insight on what it means to “break” a story (which is something that he has talked about in past videos), and also how he and the writers try to frame arcs for supporting roles like Filthy Phil (who is certainly a fan favorite). At the end Sutter also plugs another stellar FX series in “The Americans,” which is the work of “Justified” exec Graham Yost, who has been a network teammate for many years.
Just in case you missed what Sutter said last week about Jimmy Smits and some other potential guest stars for “Sons of Anarchy” season 6, you can check it out just by taking your mouse over to the link here.

I hope that there will not be any more deaths of the main characters. It almost feels as though there are not many main SOA members left
