‘New Girl’ season 2 spoilers: Who’s having a wedding?

Is love in the air on “New Girl”? That may be up for debate, but what we can confirm at this moment is that there will be a character planning for a wedding at some point before the end of the season.

As for who the lucky man or woman is, you’re probably about to see this coming. According to a new report from Zap2It, Cece is going to end up meeting the right many for her Indian arranged marriage later this season in Shivrang, and the two are going to be hitting it off well enough to start planning some sort of ceremony to say their “I Do’s” and move forward with the rest of their lives together.

Unfortunately for Cece, there are going to be a pair of people who could potentially get in her way of making this dream (or at least this desire) come true.

1. Jess – While she is not necessarily going to be talking her longtime pal out of this, Zooey Deschanel’s character is going to be throwing a bachelorette party for her that ends up going horribly awry.

2. Schmidt – Of course, Schmidt is not going to take the idea of Cece getting married to someone else very well, and thus he will do just about everything that he can in order to prevent it from happening. Whether this involves him yet again dressing up in traditional Indian garb, that is to be seen. He has had quite a bit of time to plan for this, as Cece did tell him recently that despite their recent hookup, she was still planning to get married to someone else.
