‘Two and a Half Men’ season 10, episode 16 review: Walden and Kate reunite for Valentine’s Day

Two and a Half MenTonight on “Two and a Half Men” season 10, Walden is anti-Valentine’s day after his break up with Kate, until he gets a text message from Kate saying that she’s in town and wants to meet up with him.  He’s confused as to why she wants to meet up, but in the end doesn’t care why – he just wants to see her, so he accepts her request.

When Walden meets up with Kate he couldn’t be happier to see her.  He tells her that he was surprised to hear from her and she gives him an envelope with the money he invested in her company.  She tells him that she found another investor and that she feels that giving the money back will end the relationship properly without feeling like she owes him anything.  He tries to convince her to keep the money and re-invest it into her company, but she says no.  He tries to ask her out for dinner (or anything at this point), but she denies every request he makes, because the only reason she wanted to meet with him was to give him back the money.

When he gets back home Alan convinces Walden to go and try one more time with Kate, so he goes to her hotel and tells her that he’s taking her out to dinner.  She tries to say no, but after much persistence she finally agrees. At the end of their date she kisses him good night, but tells him that they should take is slow.  The next night when he takes her out for Valentine’s Day things go from zero to sixy and they end up in bed together where they both admit how much they missed each other.  When the two start to try and schedule the next time they will see each other they realize that they are so busy that they just don’t have time for each other. Will they find a way to make it work?

Alan has decided to go all out for Lyndsey to make her Valentine’s Day very special, booking a hotel, dinner and dancing and she couldn’t be happier.  The next day just before they go out on their night on the town Alan cuts himself while manscaping and their special day ends up in a trip to the hospital, ruining their special day.  At the hospital, Alan apologizes for wrecking their night together, but she tells him that she was happy that he tried and the thought that went into it meant everything to her even though it didn’t work out.

Are you happy that Kate and Walden re-connected or were you hoping that he would move on?  Are you still enjoying the show even though a lot of the topics seem to be a lot more serious then funny this season?  Leave us a comment and tell us what you think.
