ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 5 spoilers: A new face and an extended run
Before we get to sharing some sneak peeks for Monday night’s “Reality Star Struck” episode of “Castle,” we want to be sure that we bring you a few assorted loose ends first that took place over the course of this past week.
First, we begin with the photo to the left, as it brings us the first look at Dylan Walsh (“Nip/Tuck”), who is coming on board the drama to play the part of the annual agent brought in for the two-part episode in order to deal with a high-profile case. This time, the story revolves around the daughter of a Middle Eastern businessman being captured … but it ends up escalating into something that is far more than that.
We don’t know much about Walsh’s character at the moment, except that he is as professional as professional can be, and someone who Rick will likely have a contentious relationship with as a result.
On a different note, you may have missed earlier this week that ABC announced that they were adding another episode for the “Castle” order this season. This brings them to 24 for the season as a whole, and it’s hardly a surprise to see this given that it follows up two separate series throughout the year in both “Dancing with the Stars” and “The Bachelor.” While “Castle” may not be much of a force within the 18-49 demographic that advertisers generally look for, it is a beast with total viewers, The show joins “Grey’s Anatomy” as one of the ABC drama series that has managed to receive this rare order (mostly since there are only a few other shows that can really handle putting out a full day’s worth of content over the course of a year).

The show is getting boring with the mains stars finally together and now nothing.
The plots are getting thin. Is about time the writers looked back at season 1. it was really good the lines and it had sparks. Now just Boring.
