‘Arrow’ spoilers: First details on ‘Teen Wolf’ alum Colton Haynes’ debut
While on this past episode of “Arrow” we had our first taste of one recurring character in Detective McKenna (“True Blood’s” Janina Gavankar), we are getting set to see the debut of another prominent guest star in Colton Haynes, who is making his first TV appearance since leaving “Teen Wolf” prior to the star of season 3.
Haynes will first turn up in the upcoming 15th episode of the season entitled “Dodger,” and based on the official synopsis below, he is going to make a rather interesting impression on Oliver Queen’s little sister Thea:
“Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) tells Oliver (Stephen Amell) he’s all work and no play, so he asks Detective McKenna (guest star Janina Gavankar) on a date. A jewel thief named Dodger (guest star James Callis) hits Starling City and targets someone very close to Oliver. Meanwhile, while working with Laurel (Katie Cassidy), Thea (Willa Holland) gets her purse stolen by a very fast pickpocket named Roy Harper (guest star Haynes). Moira (Susanna Thompson) makes a move against Malcom (John Barrowman).”
Is there anyone else out there who wishes that Oliver was asking Felicity on a date instead? We hope so, since that’s a far more interesting match than someone who possesses so many similarities to Laurel. Nonetheless, this sounds already like a very interesting episode when you look at just how many key characters are involved in here, whether it be Felicity, Roy, McKenna, or the Big Bad of the Moment in Barrowman’s Dark Archer (who has yet to don the hood since the winter finale).

I must say when I read the first sentence of the synopsis (well, that he asks McKenna out because I think Arrow wants to make any potential Felicity/Oliver hook ups happen in almost sitcom fashion, so we have to have the mistake episodes), my very first thought was…why would Felicity think that…unless…wait..she must find out! I can see Dig telling Oliver that, because, well, he knows. But, if there is at least some truth to the bs that Oliver feeds Felicity…well, why would she think he is all work and no play unless she knows the truth about him?
