NBC’s ‘Community’ season 4 premiere preview: Annie’s new resolution
With the season 4 premiere of “Community” just over a week away, we now have yet another sneak peek to share from an upcoming episode. With that in mind, we almost have to ask the question: is there going to be any part of this episode that we haven’t seen when it comes on the air?
For those of you looking for silly and off-the-wall humor, however, this is probably not the clip for you. Instead, the primary purpose of this is trying to set up what is going to be the story ultimately for this episode. The study group is back in action for the fall semester, and they are exciting about the prospect of taking a ridiculous class together in The History of Ice Cream.
As most fans already know, however, there is a pretty surprising twist to what we are going to see with this installment: the class is going to be so popular that it is not like Dean Pelton is going to be able to hand out free tickets of admission to it. Rather, he will force people into taking the class by making them participate in a “Hunger Games”-style competition where the winners will have an opportunity to earn admittance into the class. On this note, wouldn’t it be rather hilarious if this class turned out to be one of the most difficult in the history of Greendale?
Following the show’s premiere, expect to see new “Community” episodes every week until May. While we were at first very pessimistic on the show’s season 5 chances, we are starting to feel that the terrible ratings for “Go On” and “The New Normal” this month give it much more of a shot.
