‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 spoilers: ‘Brothers & Sisters’ actor cast as…
There is no “Once Upon a Time” episode airing on Sunday night, but will it make the wait until February 10 a little bit easier if we share some more casting scoop?
According to a brand-new report coming in via Entertainment Weekly, “Brothers & Sisters” and “Alphas” alum John Pyper-Ferguson (very different from Jesse Tyler Ferguson) has been cast to play the role of Ben, a father who is desperate to try and allow his son to heal after the loss of his mother. As we said previously, “1600 Penn” actor Benjamin Stockham has already been cast to play the role of the child in what will be the 17th episode of this season.
As with most characters on the ABC series, there is likely to be some sort of connection here between these two characters and the fairytale world. What is here? The most common theory circulating online is that it could be Bambi and his father, and this would fulfill the common Disney-with-a-twist theme that executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz have went with for most of the year. For the time being this story feels somewhat episodic, but hopefully these two characters will end up having a larger role in the story (even if their actions set off a larger chain of events).
There is still nearly half of “Once Upon a Time” season 2 to come, and you can expect all sorts of changes, from the arrival of Henry’s father to Cora finally making her move within Storybrooke. Expect danger, romance, and so much more to unfold.
Do you like this casting, or is it hard to really even know without knowing very much about the character? If you want to see more news about Rumpelstiltskin’s quest to try and find his son, be sure to head on over to the link here.

The guy who plays captain hook is pure eye candy, I tend to put my tv on mute when he’s talking and turn on captions he sounds sexier that way. Watching this show is starting to feel like a chore, kinda wish they would pick up the pace with the story
