‘Supernatural’ season 8, episode 12 preview: Sam and Dean meet their match
Now, we have even more evidence as to where Sam and Dean get some of their problem-solving skills from. On Wednesday night’s new “Supernatural” season 8 episode, we are going to have a wonderful story about time travel, and how the Winchesters manage to learn quite a bit about their past from someone who was never even planning on visiting them to begin with.
As a matter of fact, when this mysterious visitor arrives at their house below, he does so under the assumption that John Winchester is there. He then refuses to answer any of Sam or Dean’s questions, and then tricks them into making an escape before they have an opportunity to lock him up and interrogate him further.
So who is this mystery man in the “Mad Men” suit? (Spoiler alert!) Why, it is none other than their grandfather Henry Winchester! At some point during this episode Sam and Dean are going to figure this out, and what will hopefully come out of this from here is a story about family that gives the two an opportunity to learn something more about their father through a man with a very different sort of perspective on him.
As for whether this has any bearing at all on the larger arc of the story, it is currently unclear; but we figure that Henry would not be traveling through time without some sort of pressing reason, so we like to think that the implications of his journey here are going to be at least somewhat significant.

Awesome!!! I hope I can get home early enough from class to catch the FULL episode! Thank you CW for posting them to the website or I’d be a WHOLE season behind. :)
