Celebrity Big Brother 3: Was Teddi Mellencamp, Mirai Nagasu eliminated?
Entering the episode, the thing that excited us the most was the simple fact that there was real debate in the house. There were two specific times and ultimately, it was hard to know what way things were going to go. Teddi felt like the far more competitive of the two players. Yet, at the same time Mirai does have the ability to win a lot of competitions. She just got exposed for talking to people on both sides and that’s the sort of thing that can always cause problems early in the game. Remember, early in the game people are just looking for reasons to get rid of someone — as long as it’s not them, they’re good.
Power of Veto – This one was especially big, since whoever won it could be spared from the second part of the Gala Gift twist. Cynthia Bailey, Lamar Odom, and Todrick Hall got a chance to join Mirai and Carson Kressley on the block — we knew from the feeds that Carson won, so there was no surprise with that.
Veto Ceremony – Carson took himself off the block, and from there Teddi was nominated as the replacement. She was understandably mad, mostly because Miesha promised already that she wouldn’t nominate her. So yeah … Teddi wasn’t feeling it.
The twist! – The Mon Won hat turned itself into Nom Now. The hat was passed from one houseguest to another, and the last person to receive it would be an automatic nominee. That person was Todd, who chose to remove Mirai off the block. It then became Todd versus Teddi, and one of them would be going a little bit later on.
The Eviction – This was legitimately close! We thought it was going to end up in a tie at one point, but ultimately, Teddi was sent out the door.
