‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: More on Ian Somerhalder, Michael Trevino
“The Vampire Diaries” season 4 is still several weeks away from its January 17 return to TV, but why not start off this second day of 2013 with a few more details about just what is going to unfold for some of our favorite faces in Mystic Falls?
We’re going to go here from one character to the next as we try to answer a series of questions, which of course one of the most prominent ones being what sort of impact Klaus’ epic and gruesome attack on Tyler’s band of hybrids (along with his mother) is going to have on multiple characters moving forward. After all, this is going to impact more than just Michael Trevino’s character, and we’ll do our best to go person by person based on some new information via TVLine.
For Tyler – Executive producer Julie Plec claims that Klaus’ former sire bond is going to handle tragedy by largely “keeping to himself, refusing to show his emotions and stewing in his own grief and anger, which is making it difficult to help him.” As we’ve said before, though, do not believe even for a second that he and Caroline are in any way over romantically despite this situation taking precedence above everything else for the time being.
For Damon – After what happened between him and Elena during the midseason finale, expect there to be a great deal of “longing” here between the two characters. Ian Somerhalder’s vampire clearly wants to be with Elena, but he does not want to do so simply because she is drawn to him by powers outside of his control.
For Rebekah – One word: revenge. Luckily, she is also going to have someone on her side in April, who also feels deceived by some people she thought to be friends.
For Jeremy – Get ready to see more of the vampire hunter working with a vampire of all people in Damon. You know that this is going to be fun…
