‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4: Holidays arrive for Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder
The holiday season is here, and that means that everyone, including some of the people associated with your favorite shows, are getting an opportunity now to head home and enjoy a little bit of much-deserved rest and relaxation.
So what will the cast of “The Vampire Diaries” be up to? There will be a little bit of work mixed in (as Ian Somerhalder confirmed he was going to be making a brief trip to Los Angeles), but there is also going to be a little bit of rest and relaxation. A number of the actors were able to depart from Atlanta a little bit earlier in the week, whereas executive producer Julie Plec announced on Twitter that she was closing up shop for Christmas on Friday.
So what can you do to help keep you excited for the show in the new year, especially since season 4 does not return until January 17? There are a few things you can do. First of all, you can check out the new clip for “Time Framed,” which is a new series of short films starring Somerhalder as a secret agent type who is helping to fight for environmental causes such as clean energy. Ian is extremely passionate about making a greener planet, and you should find out out some more information by going over to his official foundation page.
If you want some more details about what is coming up on the show, we also have a couple of things to help tide you over, including the official synopsis for the first episode back in “After School Special” and a fun new holiday poster featuring Klaus and Caroline.
What are you going to miss the most about the show during the rest of this hiatus? As always, we want to hear some of your thoughts below!
