‘Ink Master’ season 2, episode 11 preview: The artists take on Oliver
After last night’s shocking elimination on ‘Ink Master’ season 2 it’s clear that no one is safe. (warning spoilers ahead).
Jamie has been one of the most consistent and versatile artists in the competition this season, so when he was brought into the bottom two at judging for the first time in the competition we were sure that he would survive. Unfortunately that was not the case and he went home over Sarah who has been in the bottom two more then once. While his elimination tattoo was not his best work, the focus at the judging panel seemed to be more about the fact that Jamie had been tattooing for 17 years and doesn’t have any tattoos of his own more then the actual tattoo he did. What was even more interesting about the issue of Jamie not having any tattoos was that it didn’t seem to be a problem until the guest judge came in and made it a problem.
Before coming down for the judges results, the other artists decided to draw full sleeve tattoos all over Jamie’s arms, which some of the judges felt was a bit of a mockery against them, even though that wasn’t Jamie’s intent. Did that help seal his fate? It’s possible, but we have to ask – if the fact that Jamie didn’t have any tattoos was a problem, why was he ever cast on the show in the first place?
Now that Jamie is gone there are only 5 artists left, and unlike season 1 there is no clear cut winner this year like they had with Shane O’Neill. So what’s in store for Sarah, Tatu Baby, Sebastian, Steve and Jesse next week? The artists will go toe to toe with Oliver in a portrait challenge and things will get very tense when some of the family members portrayed in the tattoos are unrecognizable.
Be sure to tune in on December 11 at 10 p.m. on Spike TV to see which of the remaining 5 artists will be sent home and who will go on to fight another week. If you missed last night’s episode and want to know more about what happened with Jamie, be sure to read our full review here.

Yes that judging clearly sucked. Sarah’s whiny crying ass should’ve been sent packing. She is good at color and nothing else

Bad judging… Brain surgeons don’t have to undergo brain surgery to know what their doing. Guest Judge was dumb but the other 3 should have known beteer. I think Sarah probably needs brain surgery…
