ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2, episode 9 preview: Victoria’s warning; Emily’s … jealousy?
We’re back with the latest sneak peeks from Sunday night’s “Revenge” season 2 episode, and we find some of our characters in a rather precarious position. As a matter of fact, you could say that the focus here is really on a pair of ex-lovers in Emily Thorne and Daniel Grayson.
For the latter, it is understandable that Daniel is feeling rather confident after being placed in quite a position of power, but that is not keeping a few other members of his family from trying to take advantage of him. Of course, we turn here to his mother Victoria, who warns him to call off a vote for his best interest. Unfortunately for her, he’s not biting on her threats … especially when she does not even tell him just what he should consider making this move to begin with.
Meanwhile, we also have a discussion between Daniel and his new ladyfriend Ashley, who tries her best to convince him to be the one to break the good news about bringing on board Nolan’s former CFO. However, he wants to have Aiden be the one to do it thanks to the trust that he believes it will help him garner. Is he right to this this way? Possible, but at the same time we kind of agree with Ashley: the man has to take credit for his own actions sometimes, even if it is a tad selfish and she may have motives of her own.
Finally, we turn to the woman of the hour in Emily Thorne, who has the honor of attending the christening of Amanda and Jack’s son Carl as the godmother. This is all well and good, but don’t you catch just a tiny glint in Emily’s eye that this is the sort of life she wishes she could have? On a different note, why are Amanda and Jack kissing in the middle of a prayer?!
