‘Downton Abbey’ season 3 spoilers: A look at who is off to Scotland
We are finally less than a month away from the “Downton Abbey” season 3 Christmas speciat, and with that in mind, we are starting to get a few details trickling in about what should be a spectacular two-hour installment that will really be stuffed full of so much content, drama, and intrigue. It’s also going to the rare Christmas special that is actually set during the late summer.
Wo who all is going to be departing on a holiday to Scotland in the episode? The attached photo should provide you with some evidence, at least if we are to take the image literally when it comes to people standing in front of the estate in the Scottish highlands. All of the proper members of the Grantham family are present, though there is no sighting of Tom Branson or his new baby Sybil who is technically Robert’s granddaughter. We also have a pair of servants present in Anna and Bates, which makes some sense given that the group would at least bring some servants with them along for the adventure.

This will be the final episode for “Downton Abbey” until the late summer / early fall of next year, when ITV will start airing their recently-announced fourth season for the show. However, American audiences are at least going to get an opportunity to immerse themselves in this world again come January, when the show starts picking up some new episodes stateside.
