‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ season 5: Kim Zolciak quits Bravo series

Is it really true?  Has Kim Zolciak  quit “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” for good or is there a possibility that she may be back next season?

After many months of denying rumors of her departure from the his Bravo series a new report from In Touch finally confirms what many have been whispering about – that the “Tardy For The Party” singer will indeed be leaving the show before the season is over. So why did Kim decide to quit the show? The reality star revealed that she decided to pull the plug on the series after Kim said she couldn’t attend a trip to Anguilla to watch her co-star Cynthia Bailey and her  husband Peter Thomas renew their wedding vows.  Although she tried to explain that she was 8 months pregnant and really couldn’t take on a big trip like that, she claims the rest of the housewives couldn’t understand her unwillingness to attend.  She said;

“I was eight months pregnant and there was so much drama; I just had to walk.  I’ve taken on so much in the past five years, but this was the final straw. My priority was the child inside me. They couldn’t understand why I couldn’t go.  Fighting is what we’re known for, but I’ve never disagreed with a pregnant woman. It’s not one life you’re dealing with, it’s two.”

One of Kim’s castmates, Kandi Burruss, revealed that the entire trip was planned around dates that Kim gave them, so they weren’t exactly sure why Zolciak decided she couldn’t attend the wedding ceremony.

So will we see Kim back on the show in the future? After answering some fan questions on her Twitter account, it sounds like she will be back for season 6 of the series.  She wrote; “I might be back next year!”
